Discover & Recover Counseling Services offers a Court Approved Drug & Alcohol Awareness Education course.
Drug & Alcohol Awareness Education is an important part of helping individuals understand the many aspects about about substance abuse. It will include factual data about what substance abuse is; the warning signs of addiction; details of how alcohol and specific drugs affect the mind and body; the serious consequences that addiction can have on one’s physical and mental health, family, relationships, and other areas of live; as well as why substances are abused.
An assessment is required for this class.
